Great trail cycling and technique training on the more challenging trails of Hellas. A deep dive into the techniques required to overcome obstacles of the forest.

Trail CYCLing, LEVEL RED, ONE DAY

The course is for you who want to challenge yourself on tougher trails and want to improve your abilities on red trails. You are comfortable on the bike and want to learn more.

We think you have attended our course Mountain Bike Technique, Level Blue and Trail cycling, Level Blue – or the equivalent. You have done quite a lot of trail cycling and are comfortable on most trails in Hellas.

You should be able to perform front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts and roll small drops and manage small heels.

  • Active cycling up, down and through technical terrain with good positioning on the bike.
  • Line selection and targeting skills.
  • We are working on gaining fluency on technical sections with heels.
  • Personal coaching and feedback.
  • A day of very fun trail cycling. Load up on snacks!
  • The course is for adults.
  • We recommend using knee pads, available for purchase in our shop or to rent on site.
  • Bring sports drinks and 2-4 bars/energy gels to get through the day in terms of energy.
  • Venue: Meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Kafé Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have some parking lots that are free of charge for guests. Bus 401 stops just outside our enclosure, bus stop “Källtorp”.
  • Schedule: Your course runs at 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Please arrive about 20 minutes early, there is breakfast, coffee and sandwiches, and you have time to arrange your rental bike.

    The course starts at 9:30 AM with assembly and review of the day’s schedule, we then cycle off for lovely trail cycling and technique training. Back for lunch at 12:15 PM when we eat vegetarian and locally produced food from Kafé Källtorp. At 1:00 PM we go out on a lovely trail run to continue applying and putting techniques into practice on the trails and we are back at Mountainbikeskolan at 3:30 to summarize the day over a coffee.
  • Make new cycling friends: During the course you will get to know other students.
  • What to bring to the course: Bike helmet (included if you rent a bike from us). Good cycling clothes and an extra tube if you get a flat tire.

    We have everything we need to fix punctures and other potential problems on your bike during the course.

    Other: Use the type of pedals you are used to. We also recommend that you bring a sports drink and 2-4 bars/energy gels to get you through the day in terms of energy.

    Dropper post, it is very good if you have a dropper post on your bike, if you have an older bike it may be better to rent.
  • 10% off in the shop for course participants: Mountainbikeskolan has a shop with bicycle equipment such as helmets, arm and knee protectors, gloves, tubes, tires, pumps, etc. As a course participant you have a 10% discount on everything in the shop during the bike tour day. Mountainbikeskolan is a Trek dealer and has a wide range of rental bikes of all Trek mountain bike models.
  • About us: Mountainbikeskolan started in 2014 and has been running mountain bike courses ever since. Mountainbikeskolan has a garden café and a garden with its own greenery, berries, fruit, vegetables and herbs. There is also a bike park. Mountainbikeskolan organizes cycling events and dinners for companies and groups who enjoy good food and great cycling.
