Food from the grill and home made pastries
Welcome to the garden café and restaurant, Kafé Källtorp at Mountainbikeskolan. We cook from scratch and all the bread, buns, cakes and biscuits are baked in our bakery. We use mostly organic ingredients and your food is seasoned and prepared with herbs, vegetables, fruits and berries from our garden. The outdoor grill is open on Saturdays and Sundays.

We offer food that suits both the hungry mountain biker, the nature-loving garden visitor, the most varied of families with children and the brunch-hungry Södermalm resident. We bake everything ourselves and all food is made from scratch.
outdoor GRILL
It’s great to have our barbecue in the courtyard! The grill is a work of art in itself, a post and beam construction designed and carved by our colleague Björn Olsson. Every Saturday and Sunday we serve venison and veggie burgers and our Luxury Hash with bacon or mushrooms, from the grill. The Luxury Hash is served in a small cast iron pan. The venison burger comes with potato chips.
buns & biscuits
Buns are being baked like never before in the café. Our pastry chef Ulrika makes the world a better place with her amazing buns and cakes. We use mostly organic ingredients and biodynamic flour from Saltå Kvarn. We make our own marmalade and jam, and all our cakes and pies are baked with fruit and berries from our own garden. We also have vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free cakes, all baked at Kafé Källtorp.
SANDWICHES & BREAD
Our bread recipe comes from our friend Sara who in turn got the recipe from her grandmother. We have been baking this bread since we opened the café in 2019. The bread is actually not a sourdough bread, there is something else that is magical about this bread. The recipe stays with us, but feel free to come and try our sandwiches!
SALADS, SOUPS & SANDWICHES
What would a garden café be without a fresh salad or a good soup. You may not have been cycling for several hours, but are coming by bus from Södermalm. A fresh salad can be just right, or perhaps a steaming hot soup after an autumn walk around the beautiful Lake Källtorp. We also offer super tasty sandwiches on our own homemade rye bread.
WINE & BEER
We have full rights and can offer a variety of tasty drinks with or without alcohol. Light drinks, organic lemonades, apple juice from the farm or locally produced Kombucha from Älta made with our own berries and fruits. Several beers from Nacka brewery and among others sour beer from Brill & Co. We have several organic white and red wines, as well as rosé wines.
DON’T MISS OUR WONDERFUL GARDEN
Källtorp Garden, as the place was called before we took over, is thriving more than ever. Here you will find spices, salad, berry bushes and fruit trees, pumpkins, tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies and much more. We have Hedemora chickens, rabbits, and Swedish yellow ducks wandering around to and from the pond. You are welcome to look around!

Bus 401 runs from Slussen several times an hour. Bus stop: Källtorp, about 15 minutes from Slussen.
Car
Drive towards Älta, at Sickla follow road 260. You pass Hellasgården on your left, go a few hundred meters more, pass the allotments. Turn left into Mountainbikeskolan and Kafé Källtorp.
