With us, you can feel confident when buying a used bike. Mountainbikeskolan’s workshop is open all year round, by appointment in winter. Here you can get quick help if something goes wrong with your bike.
Buying a second-hand bike is good for both the environment and your wallet. We apply the same conditions as if you buy a new bike.

Questions & Answers on used bikes

Here are some of the most common questions we receive about selling used bikes.

Free service means that you don’t pay anything if you need your bike serviced. Items included in the free service are all adjustments and replacement of parts and components on the bike. Some of the most common workshop operations covered by the free service are: Adjusting gears, spoke tension, adjusting brake controls, replacing brake pads, replacing tires, checking the chain, replacing the chain, checking bushings on full suspension bikes, checking handlebar bearings, adjusting dampers, etc.

Mountainbikeskolan together with Trek offers a warranty on your bike when you buy a used one. We offer a 2-year warranty on full suspension bikes and a 1-year warranty on front suspension bikes.

Every year we sell off bikes that have been used as demo bikes or rental bikes. We change bikes regularly and our bikes are rarely older than one season. Most of our bikes are in very good condition as they are continuously serviced. We have a large fleet of bikes, the bikes are ridden almost exclusively on trails and therefore do not wear out as much as the equivalent bike ridden downhill or on enduro trails.

If you want to buy a used bike from us, please contact us by email or phone and we will prepare and service the bike you are interested in. Within a week you can then come and collect the bike. You can always try an equivalent bike of the same size with us before buying. If you buy the bike, the rent is deducted from the price.
