On this course, you will learn and hone the basics of mountain bike jumping at the Mountainbikeskolans Bike Park, and practise more advanced jumps as you develop your skills. We also have a jump course for specifically aimed at women who are beginners, please see: Jump course mountain bike women.

You have attended our Basic mountain bike course or you have done a lot of mountain biking before. The course is suitable for those who are completely new to mountain bike jumping, as well as those who have already done some jumping and want to develop further. Everyone receives personal feedback, so it is perfectly fine to take the course several times.

  • The right position on the bike in the kick.
  • Bunny hop, in the kick, for the experienced.
  • Personal feedback on your jumps.
  • We have four kicks (jumps), from very small to quite large.
  • Great hangout!
  • Schedule: Your course runs from 10:00 to 15:00. It would be great if you could arrive a little earlier, about 20 minutes, as breakfast, coffee/tea and sandwiches will be served.

The course begins at 10:00 with a gathering and review of the day’s schedule. Technical training on flat ground and small jumps. Lunch at 12:15, vegetarian and locally sourced food from Kafé Källtorp. At 13:00, greater challenges in the Bike Park with individual coaching. 15:00 summary of the day over coffee/tea and cake.
  • Skilled coaches!
  • Bring your bicycle and helmet, as well as protective gear.
  • We strongly recommend that you use protective gear. If you do not have your own, you can purchase or rent it in our shop. We also have full-face helmets for sale/rent in our shop on site.
  • It is beneficial to use platform pedals, not clipless pedals, on the course, as it is easier to learn the correct technique that way. You can borrow pedals from us or purchase them on site. We will assist you in switching pedals if you wish.
  • Venue: The meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have a limited number of parking spaces that are free for course participants. Bus 401 and bus 821 stops right outside the enclosure.
  • Make new cycling friends: During the course, you will get to know other participants. We arrange for everyone who wants to to sign up for a “friends list”. This is usually organised through Facebook or WhatsApp groups so that you can keep in touch with your group and meet up to go mountain biking even after the course.
  • 10% discount in the shop for course participants: Mountainbikeskolan has a shop selling cycling equipment such as helmets, elbow and knee pads, gloves, inner tubes, tyres, pumps, etc. As a course participant, you are entitled to a 10% discount on everything in the shop on the day of the course. Mountainbikeskolan is a Trek dealer and has a wide range of rental bikes from all Trek mountain bike models.
  • About us: Mountainbikeskolan was founded in 2014 and has been offering mountain biking courses ever since. Mountainbikeskolan has a garden café and a farm with associated crops, berries, fruit, vegetables and herbs. There is also a bike park. Mountainbikeskolan organises cycling events and dinners for companies and groups who enjoy good food and wonderful cycling.
