The advanced course is suitable for all mountain bikers who have cycled a lot in the forest and want to develop further. You will be trained in both technical trail cycling and downhill cycling.

On the course you will work with active cycling / correct position on the bike, cornering, line selection and drop. We will also look at Bunny hop if there is interest.

Below are examples of things we cover in the course. The course is designed according to the participants of the course and meets everyone at their level.

  • We’ll go through the techniques to perform a good Bunny hop
  • Move the rear wheel sideways to make tight turns
  • Roll and drop down drops/edges of 50-100 cm
  • We enjoy curves in the forest.
  • Expert tips to get speed and flow on red trails.
  • We train on difficult uphill passages where you need to bring out your inner Danny MacAskill.
  • We go through line selection and how to get down steeper sections on a trail bike.
  • We’ll practise gaining momentum through messy sections by standing up.
  • A day of fun trail biking and technique training, bring snacks!

Instructors: Mountainbikeskolan’s coaches have all completed our training programme, which is based on PMBAI’s mountain bike instructor training. The coaches give you personalised and constructive feedback, so that you learn according to your level.
