  • Rent a mountain bike during the course, this year’s model and in top condition. You can choose between a mountain bike with front suspension only or one with both front and rear suspension, a little more comfortable and safer. The bikes are listed in size and how tall you should be for each. bike, helmet included in bike rental.
  • Technical training, great cycling and fellowship. We’ll learn trail riding techniques, bike position, uphill and downhill, heels and drops. The youth and adult groups are separated, i.e. you cycle at the same time, but not together.
  • Location of the course: Meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have a small number of parking spaces that are free for course participants. Bus 401 stops just outside the farm.
  • Schedule: Your course runs between 18:30 and 20:00. (adults 18.15-19.45) It’s nice if you arrive a little earlier, about 20 minutes.
  • Food and coffee: The café is open at all times. Homemade, sandwiches, burgers from the grill and drinks.
  • Make new cycling friends: During the course you will get to know other students. We arrange for everyone who wants to sign up to a ‘buddy list’. Social media groups are usually set up to stay in touch outside the course.
  • What to bring to the course: Bike helmet (included if you rent a bike from us). T-shirt, sweater or windbreaker, short or long trousers. Gympa-street or walking shoes. Water bottle for bike, alt. backpack with a water bottle. Gloves can be useful.

We have everything we need to fix punctures and other potential problems on your bike during the course. Tape an extra tube to the bike.

Other: Use the type of pedals you are used to using.

Dropper post, it is very good if you have a dropper post on your bike, if you have an older bike it may be better to rent. All reasonably modern bikes can be ridden well.
