  • Price: 2 495 kr (inkl. breakfast)
  • Dates spring 2026: 25 April, 9, 23, 30 May, 6 June
  • Time: 9:30 – 11:30 (with breakfast from 9:00)
  • 5 times: bring your own bike or rent from us.

We would like you to have attended our Grundkurs mountainbike or Grundkurs mountainbike tjejer, alternatively, you have equivalent prior knowledge such as the positions on the bike and good braking technique.

It is also good if you have done some cycling in the forest so that you can get around most places in Hellas. There is no upper limit to how good you can be to take part in the course, everyone will have fun and progress!

  • Move the front and rear wheels over stones/roots/hills.
  • Rolling off drops and edges
  • Dropping and possibly jumping techniques
  • Heels and rollers
  • Cornering
  • Climbing
  • Riding out
  • Lovely trail cycling, flowy and technical, the coaches adapt to the level and group.
  • Our hope is that we will be two groups. We take a maximum of 7 participants per coach on this course so that there is a nice flow on the trails.
  • Course leaders: the most awesome Frida and Mari, trained and confident mountain bike coaches! Get to know our instruktructors.

Schedule: Please arrive in good time to have breakfast with the other participants, or so that you are ready to start at the beginning of the course.

  • We recommend you to use knee pads, available in our shop on site or to rent when booking.
  • Rent a mountain bike during the course, this year’s model and in top condition. You can choose between a mountain bike with front suspension only or one with front and rear suspension, a little more comfortable and safer.
  • What to bring to the course: Bike helmet (included if you rent a bike from us). T-shirt, jumper or windbreaker, short or long trousers. Gym, street or walking shoes. Water bottle for the bike, or a backpack with a water bottle. Gloves can be useful.
  • We will bring everything you need to fix punctures and other possible problems on your bike during the course.
  • Other: Ride the type of pedals you are used to using. We also recommend that you bring sports drinks and 2-4 bars/energy gels to get you through the day energy-wise.
  • Dropper post, it is very good if you have a dropper post on your bike, if you have an older bike it may be better to rent. It is possible to cycle well with all reasonably modern bikes.
  • Venue: Meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Kafé Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have some parking lots that are free of charge for guests. Bus 401 and Bus 821 stops just outside our enclosure, bus stop “Källtorp”.
  • Make new cycling friends: During the course you will get to know other students. We arrange for everyone who wants to sign up to a ‘buddy list’. There are usually groups on Facebook or WhatsApp, so you can stay in touch with your group and meet up for mountain biking even after the course.
  • 10% off in the shop for course participants: Mountainbikeskolan has a shop with bicycle equipment such as helmets, arm and knee protectors, gloves, tubes, tires, pumps, etc. As a course participant you have a 10% discount on everything in the shop during the bike tour day. Mountainbikeskolan is a Trek dealer and has a wide range of rental bikes of all Trek mountain bike models.
  • About us: Mountainbikeskolan started in 2014 and has been running mountain bike courses ever since. Mountainbikeskolan has a garden café and a garden with its own greenery, berries, fruit, vegetables and herbs. There is also a bike park. Mountainbikeskolan organizes cycling events and dinners for companies and groups who enjoy good food and great cycling.
