Mountain Bike Youth – Enduro Saturdays

A great course for all young people who like downhill cycling and Enduro! For six sessions, you will train with the best young people in the school in enduro. A unique course!

YOUTH ENDURO, 6 SESSIONS

The course for all young people who like to ride enduro. During six Saturdays you will train and get a really good feeling and technique for enduro.

Price: from 1 795 kr
Saturdays: April 27, May 4, May 18, May 25, June 1 and June 8.
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Bike: bring your own bike and helmet or rent one from us.
Included: Tea break is included as well as a lift pass (at Flottsbro) on the last occasion.

You have done a lot of cycling and feel confident in regular trail cycling. No upper limit on how good you can be. We divide into groups so that you learn at your own level.

Position on the bike – How you stand on the bike to increase speed and maintain balance.
We cover how to brake safely and effectively downhill to gain speed and maintain balance.
Weight distribution to find grip on downhill sections and on curves.
We cover how to plan your lines and how to react in the best way and make quick decisions.
Line selection to safely descend steep and technical sections.
Stone chests and clutter, tackle off-cambers and steep curves.
On the last occasion of the course, we plan to cycle in Flottsbro together. Lift passes are included in the course fee. Transportation is arranged with us or with the accompanying parent.

For young people 13-19 years.
Division into basic and advanced levels during the course.
Knee pads are mandatory.
Rent a mountain bike during the course, this year’s model and in top condition.

Venue: Meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Kafé Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have some parking lots that are free of charge for guests. Bus 401 stops just outside our enclosure, bus stop “Källtorp”.
Schedule: Your course runs 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM each Saturday from 27 April until 8 June. Please make sure to arrive about 20 minitues beforehand, to have time to get ready for the course.
Make new cycling friends: During the course you will get to know other young people. We will push for everyone to exchange contact details and go mountain biking between training sessions.
What to bring to the course: Bike helmet (included if you rent a bike from us). Cycling clothes.

We have everything we need to fix punctures and other potential problems on your bike during the course.

Other: Use the type of pedals you are used. We also recommend that you bring a sports drink and 2-4 bars/energy gels to get you through the day in terms of energy.

Dropper post, it is very good if you have a dropper post on your bike, if you have an older bike it may be better to rent. All reasonably modern bikes can be used.
10% off in the shop for course participants: Mountainbikeskolan has a shop with bicycle equipment such as helmets, arm and knee protectors, gloves, tubes, tires, pumps, etc. As a course participant you have a 10% discount on everything in the shop during the bike tour day. Mountainbikeskolan is a Trek dealer and has a wide range of rental bikes of all Trek mountain bike models. 
About us: Mountainbikeskolan started in 2014 and has been running mountain bike courses ever since. Mountainbikeskolan has a garden café and a garden with its own greenery, berries, fruit, vegetables and herbs. There is also a bike park. Mountainbikeskolan organizes cycling events and dinners for companies and groups who enjoy good food and great cycling.
