Lönnkrogen – the band from the famous Lönnkrogen at the Scala Theater in Stockholm makes an appearance here. On May 25, they will visit Kafé Källtorp, Jazz & Sound.

Lönnkrogen – the band from the famous Lönnkrogen at the Scala Theater in Stockholm makes a guest appearance at Kafé Källtorp, Jazz & Sound.

The Lönnkrogen band represents a musical style from the 1920s prohibition era of joyful and swinging classic jazz. The band consists of some of the country’s top jazz musicians.

Together, they take 1920s jazz forward a hundred years to the 2020s. Stockholm’s jazz elite swing away, an evening you will never forget!

Tickets 25 May

  • Dinner ticket: entry, dinner and seating. Main course and dessert.
  • Child dinner ticket (under 15 years old): entry, dinner and seating. Main course and dessert.
  • Standing ticket: entry and bar service.
  • Music students: entry and bar service.

    Admission from 6:00 PM.
    Dinner is served from 6:45 PM.
    Music starts at 7:30 PM, 3 sets à 25 minutes.

For those with a dinner ticket, two specially composed dishes are served.

Hot dish

  • Baked fish with delicate potatoes, browned butter, dill mayo and pressed cucumber
  • Panko breaded tofu with roasted hazelnut butter, baked delicatessen potatoes, dill mayo and pressed cucumber

    Dessert
  • Pannacotta with sea buckthorn compote from the garden and candied coconut flakes
  • Vegan coconut pannacotta with sea buckthorn compote from the garden

    There is a possibility to choose a vegetarian option and other preferences, which you can communicate at the time of booking.

For those with a meal ticket

If you have a dinner ticket, you have a table reservation from 6:00 PM, food is served from 6:45 PM.
The concert will start at 7:30 PM.

For those with a standing ticket

The bar opens at 6:00 PM and has a nice selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic options. A bar menu will be offered. During the concert, you will have a standing place. The concert will start at 7:30 PM, but please arrive at least 30 minutes before.

About Kafé Källtorp, to do before or after the concert

Kafé Källtorp is located by Lake Källtorp. The place consists of a conservatory with a garden, greenhouse and bike park. You are welcome to look around the garden, take a swim from the jetty or take a walk in the beautiful surroundings.

Accessibility

Both the room (the conservatory) and the toilet are accessible, but please note there is a gravel floor in the conservatory.

Bus 401 runs from Slussen to Älta several times an hour, bus stop Källtorp (about 15 minutes from Slussen).

It is possible to park in the courtyard, turn left when you enter the gates. Limited number of parking spaces.

1920s jazz is a genre with a lot of imitation and pastiche, but Lönnkrogen’s band manages to bring this music to life and make it relevant here and now.
