Lovely summer weeks with cycling in the forest, technique training, bike park, swimming and community.

Fun days with new friends, everyone should have fun. Lunch and coffee with us, training in the bike park and on all the fantastic trails that are directly adjacent to the farm.

Good technique training on your bike, with jumps, burns, descents and everything that belongs to technique training in the forest. Equally important is making friends, feeling safe, going swimming and playing.

We aim to make this the most fun week of the summer!

  • Price: from 1 750 kr
    Bring your own bike and helmet or rent one from us.
  • Time: 8.30 to 15.30 every day.
  • Dates 2024: v.25 (17-20 June), v.26 (24-28 June), v.32 (5-9 Aug), v.33 (12-16 Aug).

You need to have done some cycling before in the forest to participate in the course. You also need a modern mountain bike.

  • We recommend you to use knee pads, available in our shop on site or to rent when booking.
  • Rent a mountain bike during the course, this year’s model and in top condition. You can choose between children’s bikes without suspension, a mountain bike with front suspension only, or one with front and rear suspension, a little more comfortable and safer, but only available in larger sizes. The bikes are listed in size and how tall you should be for each. cycle. A helmet is included in the bike rental.
  • Technical training, great cycling and fellowship. You will learn a great technique and have fun during the week. We divide ourselves into different groups so that everyone works at their own level. You will also become very good at jumping and driving in burms as there are nice jumps in the Mountainbikeskolans Bikepark.
  • Location of the course: Meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have a small number of parking spaces that are free for course participants. Bus 401 stops just outside the farm.
  • Schedule: Your course runs between 8.30-15.30 You can stay longer if you wish, just let us know in advance.
  • Food and coffee: We provide lunch, snacks and coffee during the course. The food is prepared on site by the Mountain Bike School’s best chefs.
    The café is open every day at two times of the day for those who want to buy some ice cream or snacks.
  • Make new cycling friends: During the course you will get to know other students. We arrange for everyone who wants to sign up to a ‘buddy list’. Social media groups are usually set up to stay in touch outside the course.
  • What to bring to the course: Bike helmet (included if you rent a bike from us). T-shirt, sweater or windbreaker, shorts. Gym, street or walking shoes. Water bottle for bike, alt. backpack with a water bottle. Gloves can be useful. You should also have a bag that you can ride your bike with and that you can keep your toiletries in.

    We have everything we need to fix punctures and other potential problems on your bike during the course. Tape an extra tube to the bike.

    Other: Use the type of pedals you are used to using.
  • Good to know: The Mountain Bike School started in 2014 and has been running mountain biking courses ever since.

    The Mountain Bike School has a garden café and a farm with its own crops, berries, fruit, vegetables and herbs.

    The Mountainikeskolan also has a Bikepark, or if you want to call it a jump park.

    The mountain bike school has a shop with cycling equipment such as helmets, arm and knee protection, gloves, tubes, tires, pumps etc. You as a course participant have a 10% discount on everything in the shop during the course day. The mountain bike school is a Trek dealer and has a wide range of rental bikes of all Trek mountain bike models.

    The Mountain Bike School organizes cycling events and dinners for companies and groups who enjoy good food and great cycling.
