Lovely mountain biking on 6 occasions during the spring. The course for those who want continuity and training with new cycling buddies. The Wednesday course is a combination of guiding and technique training in our wonderful cycling paradise outside Stockholm, Greece. The corresponding course is given for children and young people, see Children Mountain Bike Wednesdays, and Youth Mountain Bike Wednesdays.

We ride in two or three groups calmly, green level, medium calm, blue level or on the toughest trails in Hellas, red level. The course is for beginner to advanced mountain bikers. However, those who are beginners should have cycling experience.

  • We recommend you to use knee pads, available to buy in our shop or to rent on site.
  • Rent a mountain bike during the course, this year’s model and in top condition. You can choose between a mountain bike with front suspension only or one with both front and rear suspension, a little more comfortable and safer. The bikes are listed in size and how tall you should be for each bike, a helmet is included in the bike rental.
  • Technique training, wonderful cycling and community. Depending on the group you ride during the course, green, blue or red, we go through everything from, position on the bike, front wheel lift, uphill and downhill cycling, heels, drop and cornering technique. Since the course includes a lot of guiding, cycling in our beautiful Hellas, the Wednesday course, this course, corresponds to a Basic Course or a Technology Course spread over six occasions. During the course, the café and grill are open. MTB burgers, hearty sandwiches, “fika” and coffee/tea are served. The bonfire is lit on chilly evenings and the cycling is rounded off in the best way together in the conservatory.
  • Venue: Meeting point is Mountainbikeskolan / Kafé Källtorp, Ältavägen 105 in Nacka. We have some parking lots that are free of charge for guests. Bus 401 stops just outside our enclosure, bus stop “Källtorp”.
  • Schedule: It is a good idea to arrive a little earlier, about 20 minutes before the start of the course, so that you have time to get ready.
  • Make new cycling friends: During the course you will get to know other young people. We will push for everyone to exchange contact details and go mountain biking between training sessions.
  • What to bring to the course: Bike helmet (included if you rent a bike from us). Cycling clothes.

We have everything we need to fix punctures and other potential problems on your bike during the course.

Other: Use the type of pedals you are used to. We also recommend that you bring a sports drink and 2-4 bars/energy gels to get you through the day in terms of energy.

Dropper post, it is very good if you have a dropper post on your bike, if you have an older bike it may be better to rent. All reasonably modern bikes can be ridden well.
